Last week we found out that we are having a girl! We are overjoyed and I'm so happy Kate will have a sister to paint nails and play dress up with. We are all so lucky and we cant wait to meet her.

Home Improvements

Before: (well kind of in the middle)Mike ripping out all the tile, what a man.

After:

We just replaced our old, impossible to clean, white tile kitchen counter tops with granite and I must say its my favorite home improvement we have done yet. I wish I had a picture of it when we moved in, it doesn't even look like the same kitchen. Its really fun to see all our hard work pay off.

On the way....

... that's right baby number 2 is on its way. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and feeling very chubby. We are all so excited for our little family to grow.

He Passed!!!

After 2 LONG months of waiting we finally got Mike's test results back and... He passed!! He is now an official Certified Financial Planner and I couldn't be more proud : )

What better way to celebrate a 2nd birthday the a trip to Disneyland? So on Thursday night we packed up the car and headed for Anaheim. Our hotel was across the street so we walked over at 8 am and got to meet all the characters (from the pictures you can tell she was thrilled) We went on every ride Kate could go on and ate more sweet treats then we ever thought possible. It was a perfect day and it ended with a firework show in front of the castle. It was really one of the best days we have had together in a long time and Kate's favorite birthday so far.

Happy Easter

All Kate could talk about this month was the Easter bunny and egg hunts so when Easter weekend rolled around she was more then ready. On Saturday we took her to the Gardens (an outdoor shopping area in Palm Desert) where she got to meet the Easter bunny, who she wouldn't go near and do lots of fun bunny crafts. On Easter Sunday we woke up to see that the Easter bunny had visited our house and brought us lots of treats and toys. That afternoon we did a traditional Anderson family egg hunt at C.O.D. It was so much fun and the little girls loved it! I couldn't get a single picture of Kate without candy in her mouth : )
