Utah Trip

Last week Kate and I jumped in with my Mom and Dad (+ dogs...) for a quick trip to Utah for Pat and Angela's Sealing. I'll admit the drive was tough with a 1 1/2 year old, 2 dogs, and 2 very slow driver but we made it and it was totally worth it to get to spend such a special day with their little family.

In true Anderson fasion we stopped in at the candy shop and loaded up on treats
While we were there Brooke, Noriko and I took the kiddos up to Gardener Village to enjoy the brisk fall weather and see all the witches that were out for Halloween : ) It was so much fun! We totally loved getting to spend some quality time with the fam because we don't get nearly enough.

Together Forever

On Friday, August 13 our little family of 3 was sealed in the San Diego Temple. I can easily say that it was the best day of all of our lives. To know that we will be together forever is the most comforting feeling I have ever felt. I'm so thankful for my testimony of the gospel and all the blessing of the temple. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and beautiful baby girl. I love them more then anything and now we will be a family for time and all eternity. It was the most perfect day I have ever had.

you can see more pictures here : )
oh and dont mind my stringy unbrushed hair, thank you wind and ocean air

Something in the air

No this is not another Halloween post, this bad boy and his friends decided to set up shop all around our front door yesterday.
So I was out in the front yard watering when I got an aunt bite, so I went to run inside and right buy the front door knob there was this!
So of course, I ran around to the garage to get the bug spray.
When I returned I noticed one above the front door and another one on the ground!!!
I doused them all in bug spray for a good 15 minutes until their legs curled up and I went inside (I would have stayed longer but it was 117 degrees out and I was melting), went out to check on them like an hour later and they were all GONE!
I'm too scared to use the front door for anything now and I had nightmares all night.
Hopefully we don't get packages or visitors anytime soon.

Better late then never

Over the past 3 months...

Kate had her first Birthday party! she had so much fun and she LOVED her cake.

Mike and his dad built us a new fence and gate.
Seven Peaks Water Park for the Evans reunionHyrum City Parade

We went to Utah to visit all the fam for the 4 of July.

Kate took a big spill at the mall and cut her lip and gums bad, she also took her first trip to the E.R. where i nearly passed out from all the blood. Luckily she didn't need stitches and after x rays the dentist let us know her teeth were in fact not going to turn black or fall out.

We were totally star struck when we were walking around our hotel and ran into none other then actor Tim Robbins (from Shawshank redemption)! We totally talked to him and he wished me a happy birthday! At the top of the Santa Monica ferris wheel
For my 22nd birthday Mike took us down to Santa Monica for the weekend. We stayed in the Marriott right across from the beach, it was super fancy and we felt really cool, especially after rubbing elbows with the stars. We spent tons of time at the beach and that is exactly the way I wanted to spend my Birthday. It was definitely my best birthday so far. Thanks Mikey!

Waiting

I hate when people wait weeks and weeks in between blog posts, it's boring. I hate even more when they post without pictures. I'm guilty of both right now but only because baby girl has crawled off with our USB cord for our camera and it is nowhere! I have searched the house high and low it's gone. It's amazing how kids can do that, it's like a gift. Anyway a new one is on the way, then Ill be back.

Chicken Pox

Yup Kate has a full blown case of the chicken pox.

She has been drooling and had a fever for the past few days and we just thought it was teething. Then last night we noticed a few red bumps on her leg and just thought it was some little bug bites or something, no big deal. Luckily she had her 1 year doctors appointment this morning and as soon as the doctor saw her he said " Oh yeah this is definitely the chicken pox, I haven't seen the chicken pox in a long time." Apparently kids don't really get the chicken pox anymore since they get the vaccine at their 1 year appointment. She almost made it. Poor little chicken pox covered girl.
