Happy Easter

All Kate could talk about this month was the Easter bunny and egg hunts so when Easter weekend rolled around she was more then ready. On Saturday we took her to the Gardens (an outdoor shopping area in Palm Desert) where she got to meet the Easter bunny, who she wouldn't go near and do lots of fun bunny crafts. On Easter Sunday we woke up to see that the Easter bunny had visited our house and brought us lots of treats and toys. That afternoon we did a traditional Anderson family egg hunt at C.O.D. It was so much fun and the little girls loved it! I couldn't get a single picture of Kate without candy in her mouth : )

2 years

Last week Mike and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. I can't believe it's only been 2 years, I can't even remember what it was like before we were married. It's been a really great couple of years and I can't wait for many many more.

We decided to take a little trip down the Huntington beach for the weekend and it was sooo much fun! Perfect beach weather and Kate couldn't get enough of the sand . It was basically a perfect weekend AND to top it all off mike replaced my old ring with a shiny new one. It was the last thing on earth I thought I would get (and I'm still not sure I deserved it) but I think that's what made it so great, I really appreciate it. He really is too good to be true.

Real Housewives of Kansas

This week Mike had to go to a seminar for work in Kansas. I always hate when he has to go on work trips but this time I didn't mind so much only because when he got there he text me that he was sitting next to none other then Vicki from the Real Housewives of Orange County!!!! Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE my Housewives. I insisted he not come home without a picture and he delivered. He said he talked to her for like an hour and that shes kind of a loser...could have guessed. still don't care. I love him so much for doing that for me even though he hates the Housewives. It was a dream come true : )

Christmas!

...its so late but I have to do it...

Our Christmas was just perfect this year. We had Christmas morning at home with just the 3 of us, which is the way I hope we always have it. Kate LOVED Christmas morning! I dont think she really knew what was going on or why she had millions of new toys from "Santa" but she loved every second of it.

After we opened presents and ate breakfast we hopped in the car and headed to Ventura for christmas morning #2. That night we had a big dinner with all of Mike's family, we did lots of visiting (and overeating). It was a wonderful Christmas and I cant wait until next year!
