Yup Kate has a full blown case of the chicken pox.She has been drooling and had a fever for the past few days and we just thought it was teething. Then last night we noticed a few red bumps on her leg and just thought it was some little bug bites or something, no big deal. Luckily she had her 1 year doctors appointment this morning and as soon as the doctor saw her he said " Oh yeah this is definitely the chicken pox, I haven't seen the chicken pox in a long time." Apparently kids don't really get the chicken pox anymore since they get the vaccine at their 1 year appointment. She almost made it. Poor little chicken pox covered girl.

I AM SO SORRY!!! POOR GIRL!! I remember having chicken pox... I thought I was dieing... apparently I didn't... but I can sympathsize with her... hugs and kisses!!
oh my gosh!!! that is so crazy. who do you think she got them from? poor little girl... (and poor mommy.)
if you only knew how many times this week i've thought to myself, "i'm gonna call paige and see if she'll take Cailin for a few hours." glad i didn't :).
